No. It's what was inferred. I refuse to take responsibility for something you read that I didn't write.

No apology needed. Anyone with a Filmation Superman still for an avatar can't be all bad.

I don't think anybody's posted this yet, but here are Sandy Collora's thoughts on the new costume:

Bottom line: there's no reason to change the suit.
As for those people defending it as "resembling the Golden
Age costume" or whatever...shouldn't it resemble what literally
billions of people are more familiar with? The comic has
featured the large S-shield for at least, what? 25 years? The
first Superman movie was successful and what people
enjoyed. I don't get it. And I guarantee the people who
designed it didn't say, "hey, let's make it more like the Golden
Age suit", they designed what they felt was better than the no
good comic books could come up with.

And I guarantee the people who designed it didn't say, "hey, let's make it more like the Golden Age suit", they designed what they felt was better than the no good comic books could come up with. ***** My spider-sense tingles, here -- literally. I sense in this design a table-full of Hollywood honchos sitting around looking at the traditional Superman costume and mumbling "The Spider-Man movie costume had 3D webbing and that looked really cool. What can we make 3D on Superman's costume?" I suppose we should be thankful for small mercies, and be glad they settled for the S emblem and stippling on the boots and trunks. They might just as well have decided the blue needed to be "punched up" a la the Phantom. . .

They could have got a more 3D actor to play Superman then they wouldn't need the bodysuit nonsense!

One of my problems with Collora's World's Finest short is that while Michael O'Hearn was quite impressive as Superman, he was also massive as Clark. Pretty hard to hide all that under a suit and tie. I hope Warners didn't decide to go with a smaller guy so he looked more Kent-ish

I assume you mean Spider-Man or Batman? There's no bodysuit crap on Superman.
