JB: With the wingtips visible. (Am I certifiable to be doing all this for a book that doesn't really exist??)
***
I know precisely what you mean. I co-created a card game in 1995. It was nationally distributed and made some good money, but my involvement ended in 1996 when I got fired from the studio producing it... and the game guttered out within a year.
Fast forward to 2017: I got emailed from a guy who loves the game, made a website for it, and wanted to interview me. Since then, we've become friends and I've written probably as much material to expand and improve the game as I did when I originally co-designed the thing. It will probably not go anywhere, except to gamers who like the card game, but it's been very satisfying.

Also: I was thinking about a Patreon account, JB. That might be a great situation.
There are a number of creators who get subscribers and in return, they post whatever they please. It can be short fiction, artwork, anything that occurs to them.
The subscription is often nominal, maybe up to $10/month. I'm sure a lot of us would jump on that opportunity.

I would pay $10/month for new JB-verse stuff - especially Danger Unlimited!

And the Strato-Jet looks AMAZING!! Thanks. As noted, this is a very simple model. The one I built for XMHY was actually mapped to look like a drawing. This one has just the details I need to trace it. Additional details would be added during the drawing process.

Mr. Byrne,
You may have answered this in a previous thread, but I can't find it... what program do you use to create these 3D models?

You may have answered this in a previous thread, but I can't find it... what program do you use to create these 3D models? The one with which I am most comfortable, STRATA. I mention my comfort level since almost every time I mention Strata I am pummeled with suggestions of other programs to try!

Just to say I'd gladly hand a few bucks on a JB Patreon account. It's not easy on us brazilians with the currency exchange, but I already do it for a couple of artists I deeply admire.

This may be a dumb question, but as a non-artist I'm interested: how do you use the digital model to create a penciled image on the page?
