I posted a topic last month asking JB about his sketchbook. I wanted to extend the idea a bit and see if the members and of course JB would post an image from a book or a doodle, scrap paper, maybe even a napkin. I will wait to post from mine, as I am not sure if this is with in the rules of the board. I was thinking this would be similar to the post "What’s on your desk top?"  Therefore, if its okay with JB, show us some of the scribbles you have tucked away.

Funny you mention it - I just posted some stuff from my old sketchbook
and other pages in the FanFic section.

I have lots of cool stuff in sketchbooks, but none of it is by me. I can't draw a bath. Luckily, I prefer showers anyway.

Here's something I scratched out about a month ago as a design idea for a new character I came up with.  Drew it on an old comic backing board.

At one of Joe Kubert's Saturday sketch classes, in the early 80's, he suggested during one of his lectures that we all carry a sketchbook with us so we can draw what we see around us, and keep ideas. I've kept one pretty regularly since then, and posted a small sampling of them online on a free geocities page at:

http://www.geocities.com/mcmurray68/sketchbookmain

Of possible interest, the "Feb-May '96" book has some pages by my buddy Rags Morales in it, including a cool Spider-Man sketch.

(Note: Since it is a free page, sometimes after several people view it, the website appears "crashed", but it clears up within an hour.)

I've always been a big fan of Mark's work. We were in the same JKS class
together.

Mark, do you have any of the "On the Nature of Greed" story we did for
José Delbo's class that I wrote, you pencilled, and Jim "I used to do Flash
Gordon" Keefe inked our first year? I ran across my Xerox of that a couple
of days ago, but it's pretty beat up. I'd love to get a decent scan of that
and color it.

This series of sketches were inspired part from the micro figures posted here and the Manga technique known as SD (Super Deformed). I like to call them LD (Lil' Dudes) myself. A guilty pleasure for certain with no intent to render such heroic figures as goofy.
