Great issue!
It is so cool to actually own a page from it.

It breaks my heart that the odds are very slim that we will ever see Generations 4

Can I say something that's never really dawned on me until just now, looking at those pages for the first time?

John Byrne has always been fantastic at drawing tender kisses.  That's gotta be harder than it looks!

Hey Garett,

Is that page between two pieces of glass?  Looks cool.

I loved all three of the Generations series and the idea behind them.  But this issue is where I got kind of lost on the time-travel rules of G3. And I didn't quite get Darkseid's attacking backwards through time. But, I do understand the need for a MacGuffin and once that was out of the way, the action, adventure, and interaction were a lot of fun.

Honestly, I thought the kiss was a lovely homage to SUPERMAN II -- the movie.  I didn't read anything more into it.  Sigh.... people...

My first piece of original art came from this comic! Thanks John and Jim!

JB, you're paying homage to "Superman II"?  I didn't even know you liked that movie.
