The next Marvel Bishoujo statue, Phoenix (along with concept art for the Emma Frost MB version), has been revealed. Nice that Kotobukiya is putting both versions of Phoenix, but I'm not getting a "must have" vibe from it...

@ Hmm… Based on the hi-lites on her boots, I guess that's a RED costume Ms Marvel is wearing, right? @

I'm taking it that the red highlights are "supposed" to be from the red coloring of the base and of her belt I find it interesting that the statue gives the impression that the gloves and boots are a different material than the body suit and mask.

Yes. JB. You didn't pay $1.99 for the sarcasm character so you are no longer allowed to be sarcastic on the internet. So there!

Ooooo, I like the green Phoenix (though I'd like a smaller bird on her chest) and Ms. Marvel. Thank goodness I have neither the space or the cash to invest in new collections.

Kotobukiya is going to unveiling a Bishoujo line for DC at Toy Fair a week and a half from now. My wallet is angry.

However, in my defense, with the few "what color is _________ hair/costume via highlights" posts we've had here I took your comment as serious. Now, back to the show...

I do not buy too many figures but I am drawn to the Blackest Night HeroClix that thy just announced. The sculpting looks better than HeroCLix used to look. I am talking about Normal Sized ones. The big figures like Galactus always look good.
