I saw those new Mattel Megos and thought they looked pretty cool.  I wouldn't mind if they improved the figure a bit.  Seemed like mine never lasted long when I was a kid.  Maybe I wouldn't be so rough on them now!

No joke Luca. Miller's Dark Knight just isn't a favourite of mine.

JB I know where the inspiration for the Miller statue comes from, I'm a big fan of that drawing. I just don't think its a successful interpretation of Miller's style. It looks like another artists Batman dressed in a FM Batman's costume. I think the Mignola and Pope statues Batman B&W statues are successful interpretations but not this one.

We'll have to agree to disagree then, Robert. I think that piece nailed Frank's most recent interpretations of Batman perfectly.

I think that statue captures the body Frank draws really well, but the face is "off" enough to make it not quite there for me. Not by much, but something's just not there, IMO.

I think these are more successful interpretations of Miller's Dark Knight.

First two were inspired by the first DK.  Miller's Batman has changed a lot since then.

How much are those Mattel Mego dolls, and where can I find them? I had a few as a kid, but sold them a few years ago (for roughly $150 each, so...)
