Go here http://www.marvel-figurines.co.uk/index1.html for a closer look at these figures. On this page point to the figure to see a bigger pic and then keep hitting more to see the rest of the series announced so far.

If you need to see these figs in a little more detail, including front and side shots then may I cheekily suggest a peek at my website particularly the "figurines 1-16, 17-32, 33-53 and specials" pages. http://www.marvelcustoms.co.uk/figurines116.htm as a start.

I run the site for fun and it does tie in nicely with the various forums dedicated to these figurines.  There are some figures that to me run borderline but I want to collect the full series so there are one or two that get shunted to the back of the display cabinet if I get bored with them :)

Some of those custom jobs are especially neat!

Time to go to work with a pair of pliers and a
blowtorch.

Fantastic site Steve, I am so pleased that 100 figures have been confirmed and that 120 is being considered.

Well John, we are in the process of running a little "customising" competition.  Designed to cater for all abilities from simple repaints to full blown blow-torch-pliers-chainsaw resculpts.  In the early stages yet, rules are up and we are hopefully offering Grey Hulk, Apocalypse and Galactus figs as prizes for the 3 categories.  I am also attempting to get the mags signed by the production team at EM ( I know how nutty collectors are for anything with a signature on it :) )

Entry is free (with certain provisos) and all that is needed is photographs of the customs that have been made so there is no entry fee or postage costs etc.

Thanks for the kind words on the site, I will use it to showcase the DC range too when that finally hits the streets in the UK.

I am pumped that so many figures are going to be made. So far I have all 53 released but I am scratching my dead as to how they are going to fit on my shelf!

It has to be said that these figurines do make for a nice collection.  Seems John that there are the Rooftop Special Spidermen and a couple of the variants yet to get but otherwise a nice complete collection.  Thanks for showing them.

I saw online that Guardian is rumored for a future release.  I'm optimistically happy!

'k, my LCS finally got a new batch of these figurines in this week.  Made for an expensive trip to the shop, but I think they're well worth it.  Sitting on my desk next to The Thing, I purchased...

  • Colossus
  • DD
  • Iron Fist
  • Nightcrawler

They look friggin' awesome!  Colossus was a little pricey at $20, but I think it's a great sculpt, so I didn't mind the extra cost.  In fact, buying these today got me so jazzed to get more that I logged onto the Midtown Comics website and ordered the following...

  • Jean Grey Phoenix
  • Black Panther
  • Angel
  • Red Skull
  • Sub-Mariner
  • Loki
  • She-Hulk
  • Invisible Woman
  • Medusa
  • Green Goblin

I was disappointed to see so many out of stock, like Spider-Man, Captain America, Magneto, Silver Surfer, and Dr. Doom to name a few, but I feel well on my way to having a pretty decent collection.  I'll keep checking back for those figurines as well as the new releases, many of which (of course!) I want.
