X-Men costuming question: When did the Angel go red-and-white from
black-and-white?

Angel went red when he became part of the Champions. With Black Widow
and Ghost Rider in the group, it was decided there would be too many
characters with black costumes.

I disliked the change intensely but, apart from the boots, it had no impact
on how I drew the character.

I like the shelving thingy you have them displayed on, JB.

••

It's intended to hold 1/24th scale model cars, but it's perfect for these
figures. Eventually I expect I'll pick one up for the DC figures, once there are
enough of them.

One of the things I like about it is that the shelves are deep enough to hold
two and potentially even three rows, depending on how the figurines are
arranged.

Looking at those shelves, I find myself thinking about how Batman would do in battle against all those different Marvel characters. Some interesting match-ups there.

Who is the blue one between She-Hulk and Dr. Strange? Mystique?

I see the FF are together -- but all else random. Will you be grouping figures at some point, JB?

They're not random. Michael. The FF and Spider-Man are "chronological"
and the rest (excluding the "special editions") are in approximately their
release order. Approximately, because the configuration of some of them
made it awkward for them to be standing next to others. (Didn't think
Mysterio and the Yellowjacket should be holding hands, for instance!)

I tried them in several different orders -- originally alphabetical, then by
group affiliation -- until I decided release order would simply make it easier
to add the new ones as they came along.

You mean you're too busy to be bothered constantly re-grouping them?! Some fan you are...!

I like the shelving as well.  Where can I pick a couple of these up and can they be hung from the wall?

I've been looking at those online this morning.  Plenty of options are out there, but make sure you shop around.  The prices are all over the place for what looks like the same group of products.
