I'm going to have to pick up that Dr. Midnight. The owl pushes it into the "buy" catagory (forgot to pre-order the Saturn Girl at my LCS). It'll go well with the Power Girl figurine.

Loving Doctor Midnight!
The only problem with getting the Sinestro to repaint him would be that he doesn't wear a mask in either his classic black/blue costume or in his Sinestro Corps uniform. It'd be a b----h to get his face to look right in either of those suits with that sculpt on his face!

I'm not that picky on 99% of the DC stuff. If I can remove the mask's scrible lines, great. If not, yellow mask.

I've been wondering lately why Sinestro doesn't have a mask - either blue for this classic costume or yellow for his Sinestro Corps version. He wore one with the Green Lanterns, and you can't say that it's part of the uniform because members like Salaak, Kilowog, Tomar Re and G'Nort have never worn them.
It's obviously an optional thing for the Corps, so Sinestro chose to wear it. Why would he forego wearing one on his self-styled costumes?

Perhaps because he stopped being "Green Lantern", and became "Sinestro". One would expect when he was a member of the Corps and wore a mask that his homeworld acquaintences didn't know his true identity. Once he publically went by his given name that was no longer the case.

Wayde - I thought something similar, even tying it into the White Lantern thing because he's a good guy again for that moment, so he'd have an identity to protect. But then I remembered why he was kicked out the Corps to begin with; he ruled Korugar with an iron fist as a dictator so he could keep control of his sector. His whole planet KNEW who he was, not only because he controlled them, but because of his pride in making sure they knew who was boss!

Will be getting Batwoman (I liked the Greg Rucka and JH Williams story).

That Dr. Mid-Nite has me thinking that I could easily fall down the rabbit hole of collecting "just" the classic Justice Society members. The Jay Garrick and Alan Scott sculpts are excellent as well. Ah, for the days when I had discretionary income...

Brian... if you do get started, be prepared to get far more figurines than you initially intend. No matter how much you say "I'm limiting myself to this group" or "I only want characters related to so-and-so" it's just not going to work.
Just be honest with yourself going in, and it makes it easier when you do reject a character based on not having interest or disliking the sculpt, because you'll still have everything that you do like.

The Batwoman pose looks a bit out of character, at least from the little I've read of the current incarnation, but I'll pick it up anyway. The Dr. Midnite is a must have, but the Blackest Night stuff I'll skip.
