Last piece of the year. Loved the back covers Alan Davis and Paul Neary did
for the series. This one features Meggan.

We hosted our family holiday meal this past Sunday. It
began as a great day, until my father had a sudden,
shocking and pretty damn frightening health scare in the
midst of it. Very surreal moment that was made more
manageable due to the love in the house at the time. This
was one of the gifts from that day. *Thanks for reading.*

Edit: Jose mentioned that he modelled "Tiny", the deputy,
after Billy the Kid.

Fred, glad to hear things worked out during dinner. And congrats on another fine piece for the Garcia-Lopez museum you seem to be destined to build.

I let the last Detective Comics page that Eddy Barrows
did slip through my fingers and, despite wanting to buy
it, brought it to NYCC and sold it within minutes of
arriving. I wasn't going to let that happen to this one.
Love the energy that Eddy and Eber Ferreira brought to
this page as well as the nod to the classic Bat symbol,
that was used for the published title page of the issue.

Not familiar with the artist, but I like it.  Bit of a Moebius vibe . . .

Just bought this today so it is not in hand but I wanted to go ahead and share while we're all still in the Christmas spirit:

Bissette is offering a series of sketches as "rewards" for donations to a GoFundMe to benefit a friend of his.  I snatched this one up.  I've been wanting a Swamp Thing sketch from Bissette to go along with a Man-Thing and The Heap I already own.  This is a holiday-themed piece (in terms of the colors anyway) that he drew on Christmas Day.  I think the colors look great!  Had to have it.  A Christmas present to myself.  Hope you enjoy.

I've finally been Byrned !
So excited to have my first John Byrne related artwork;

First up is a TITANO pinup from WHO'S WHO ('87),
penciled by Ron Frenz and inked by John Byrne (!):

Next is a related page from the beloved Tears For Titano
story that JB had written for SUPERMAN ANNUAL v2 #1,
penciled by Ron Frenz and inked by Brett Breeding:
