Here's the original artwork for another Tom Chantrell movie poster painting I bought earlier this year, PATTON, winning a total of 7 Oscars in 1970 . . .

That is likely the only time that Scott will ever be referred to as
beautiful.

Tom Chantrell original prototype painting for the UK social drama, 'This is My Street' (1964).  Although serving as a kind of detailed preliminary piece of artwork, the resulting finished painting (used for front-of-house cinema advertising) pretty much adheres to this prototype - with minimal revision and tighter detail.

Preliminary (proposed) original artwork for the 1966 UK movie, I'VE GOTTA HORSE starring Billy Fury (an Elvis Presley-influenced British singer popular at the time). Prior to the go-ahead being given on a movie poster campaign, artists would submit several designs for consideration to the studio clients. This particular idea was not used for the resulting advertising campaign, but is energetic and fun. Image size of 20" x 15".  Artwork by Tom Chantrell.

Here's one for the Dr Who fans amongst you . . .

An original Ron Turner painted episode of 'The Daleks' strip that featured in the UK magazine TV21 during the 1960s.

Nice! I've never seen this guy's work before, but he's got a Tom Grummett/Kerry Gammill vibe, with a side of Perez/Jiminez inks.

Terry those are some outstanding pieces! Why is it that I often like the prelims more then the polished pieces.... gotta love the brushstrokes and energy in the I've Got a Horse prelim. And who doesn't love to hate the Daleks?!?! Congrats!!!
