DOOM PATROL #11, page 5:

My eye was really drawn to this page for several reasons.  The storytelling and creative use of panels....the large image of Nudge's face along with her expression of shock/horror....multiple images of Grunt who was a favorite character from the series.

Ari, nice Mandrake page.  I liked his work on Batman, the Spectre, and Jonn Jonzz very much.  Was that from the run, or is it a commission/specialty piece?

OK, folks, here is easily one of the new gems in my collection:

STAR TREK ALIEN SPOTLIGHT: ROMULANS page 22

This surprise final splash page was the icing on the cake that was this great story.  JB's STAR TREK comics (which started here) sent me on a path where I ended up watching all the episodes of the original series over a couple of summers and really sparked my renewed love and appreciation for the show.  Thanks, JB!

I planned to meet Robert Englund at the Motor City Con last month but was unsuccessful.  His line was constantly packed all weekend.  I knew he did some quick Freddy Krueger sketches I had seen pop up online and I thought it would be a fun addition to my art collection.  I wasn't really sure about asking him to do one at the show anyway and I found out he offers them for sale through his web site.  So I didn't get to meet Mr. Englund but I did get to add this conversation piece to my collection:

Sayger is a really interesting artist.  If you ever get the chance to watch him work I recommend it.
