Very nice, Paul. Love the way Daredevil and the Kingpin look.

This piece arrived today in the mail. Chris Mooneyham's pencils for the NYCC cover for Five Ghosts #6.

Edited to add a better scan.

Even the holes in Fred's collection are better than mine.

I would say I'm sorry for your loss Fred but seeing as you still have your
Buscema Hulk splash I am inclined not to do so! ;)

Brian Peck:
This is art used in Drawing Dynamic Hands by Burne Hogarth. When
I was taking art courses in college the best books for me were by
George Bridgman (Life Drawing) and Burne Hogarth Dynamic drawing
books, (Dynamic Anatomy, Dynamic Figure Drawing, Drawing
Dynamic Hands etc). Bridgman was good for drawing from life and
Hogarth really showed the underlying structure and how to visualize
hands, figures, heads from every point of view. I know there are two
groups you either love his anatomy books or hate them. I am in the
former. Never thought I would get a chance to own an original from
one of his art books. This was used in Foreshortening chapter on page
91 from Drawing Dynamic Hands.

========
That's a great piece Brian. If you still have an interest in art books, the
best series I've ever seen is back in print. Go to Amazon and search
Andrew Loomis.

Stephen,
I have one of Andrew Loomis' early books from the 40s I think. The later
reprints I don't care for, the paper stock isn't as nice.

I've never seen an older copy so I couldn't compare.

BTW Brian, are you the Brian Peck of JOHN BUSCEMA: THE
MICHELANGELO OF COMICS?
