I like that Spider-Man. Very polished, yet the rangy, angular pose recalls something of Ditko.

Everybody remembers this great one from the 1960s, right?
Cosmic Crossover Special #1 (January, 1965) Co-Publishers: DC, Marvel, Standard Writer: Some Hack
LINK TO CAF ENTRY
Released around October, 1964 this Silver-Age tale unites the premiere super-teams of the Justice League of America (then on issue 33), the Sentinels (#35), and newcomers, the Avengers (on issue 12) for the first time. And all for only 25 cents!! On television, another team called the Avengers enjoyed great popularity, Gunsmoke was entering its 10th season, and the Rolling Stones debuted on the Ed Sullivan Show.
Colors by Gerry Turnbull! Sweet.

Heck of a commission Ari! You're certainly on a roll lately. Really love the bats in the background. Nice touch.

Another Silver-Age great:
The Sentinels #18 (Aug 1963) "Chthonak -- the God Below!"
When Chthonak shatters the barrier separating the God-Realm from our own, he breaks through the Earth's crust and threatens humanity itself. The world quakes in terror at -- Chthonak, the God Below!! Can the Planet's Ultimate Super-Heroes defeat this being, who is literally a god?!?

What says "Merry Christmas" better than Spring-Heeled Jack fighting a Tiger-Man? Nothing.
http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1082739
Victorian super-hero Spring-Heeled Jack investigates a bizarre series of murders, only to find himself face to face with ... a Tiger-Man, one of Dr. Moreau's beast men.
