Really like that latest Sentinels piece Roy! Nice reimagining of a classic JLA cover! Look forward to seeing this finished!

Ought to commission Ballard to do an actual story and not just cover pieces.

It's funny, looking at that piece, his style seems to move from being simply a Perez pastiche to more of an imitator of Perez-imitator Phil Jimenez. Early Jimenez' figures always looked a bit more posed or stiff than Perez. Perez work while highly detailed still managed a certain loose organic effect when it came to the characters while Jimenez looked more deliberate and artificial. And, the characters all tended to being a bit lean and less rounded. I could always recognize who Jimenez was channeling but never confuse the two. What little I have seen of his more recent work on Fables, I think he's firmly moving into his more of his own style, away from his influences.
