Very nice pencil variations on that Man Thing, Joe. I'm guessing you are very proud to own that one.

Art Baltazar was back in Ohio for the first time in a couple years so of course I had sketch ideas for him!
This one I just requested Superman surrounded by some of his Super-Foes. He decided Superman would need help so he threw in Krypto coming to the rescue:
Baltazar is so fun! He sings, hums and talks to himself and anyone who will listen the whole time he sketches.

I asked Baltazar for King Kong on top of the Empire State Building with maybe a plane or two buzzing around him:
Art made some changes to the original movie plot. He decided the ending was too sad so this time the planes are coming to save Kong (hence the hearts). Also he threw in Batman climbing up the side of the building and an alien invasion. I think he created the ultimate summer blockbuster right here!

Last one from the Cincy Expo:
I had a couple artists I had wanted pieces from fall through over the last couple weekends so I took the opportunity to throw some extra money at Darryl Banks. I enjoyed his Green Lantern run back in the 90s and have seen him at many cons in the area but never got a sketch from him. I decided to go all out with the two figure Darkseid vs Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner) piece you see here.

Joe, Pretty darn nice for a convention sketch! And William, am really drawn to the Hatke Galactus piece. Makes me think of Moebius.
