You like the Plastino's, eh? Well here's an unusual one. For the full story, go here:

Really cool re-creation Roy! Chris Ivy did another great job putting the finishing touches down. Those distressed covers are fun to see! Nice story too.

I found this while on our family trip to Marceline Missouri.  It was on sale at the Disney Museum.  Guy had a large display of his work on the Muppets.   My scanner is small, and  I was not sure how to put the two images together.

My boy’s (who are almost 14) wanted to know what that thingwas he was trying to hit.

I was G-Fest XX in Chicago over the weekend.  Had a nice family reunion with the 2011 Japan tour members, including Martin Arlt and his wife Pam.

Matt Frank, artist on IDWs GODZILLA: RULERS OF THE EARTH comic book was in artists alley, and was generous enough to do an autograph sketch:

Also, Japanese special guest Tsutomu "Tom" Kitagawa, the suitmation actor who has played nearly all the Millennium-era Godzillas, surprised me by adding a little something "extra" to his autograph:

I agree with others that Chris Ivy does some great work.

Anyway, I always liked JB and George Perez's versions of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Here's Nikki (and Dry Dock) by Perez:

I took advantage of Chris Sprouse's recent art sale and picked up some pages from Batman Annual 14.  Here's a cool page of "patches" he made for some of the interiors.  There are lots of notes to the editor (Dan Raspler) and even some small amounts of art you can't see on this scan as well as some pencils on the back of the page.  Interesting pick up I thought.

Page 21 from Batman Annual 14 was originally two pages of art!  Go grab your copy of the Annual and compare page 21 to these two below!
