I mentioned that the Garcia-Lopez page was one of two that had made a difficult week a bit more manageable. This is the second. I have been trying to track down the elusive Paul Pelletier to get his take on Bashful Ben's poker game, since he is at the top of my list in favorite working artists. This have proven extremely difficult, since Paul doesn't have an online presence, appears at very few conventions and doesn't accept commission requests. That said, Jason Hickok was able to hook me up with the commission after approaching Paul at a show in Florida. This piece is especially meaningful, since the past few months have been challenging for me, and the timing was a perfect moment of relief from those stresses and losses. Paul Pelletier blew the doors off this piece as far as his interprestation of the characters and the manner in which he floods his artwork with characterization and emotional interactions. I adore the piece!! Special thanks to Jason for setting this up for me. It means a great deal!

The poker game is a hoot! Pelletier is so underrated. I love his stuff.

Pelletier's page seems to be a nice mixture of JB and Alan Davis.
