Nice pickups Ryan. Though not the classic look, really like the Sasquatch.
Ari- Nice Batman. Great background scene.

Cool Zorro. Simple, but very effective.
Edited to add: fake milestone!

I like that Sasquatch ! A different interpretation of the SAME character. It does look like Sasquatch but it's drawn in the artist's style. That's what we want, don't we ?

Ending the year with ONE MORE page from Frank Hampson's DAN DARE. "Historically", this page is from the episode published the week before my first DARE.Gorgeous page, of course, but the flaming hetero in me must confess that what really caught my eye was the beautiful rendering on Jocelyn Peabody's shoulders at lower left! Page is slightly damaged, but after all these decades, it's more amazing when they're NOT!

Hampson's art is so rich. There details on the bagpiper alone are quite marvelous. And Professor Peabody's shoulders are, indeed, beautifully captured.

These DARE pages are really impressive. I don't think I was ever even aware of the strip before coming to the JBF. Might have to seek it out and try it!
