I’m glad they included the posters twice with the omnibus. The covers and a
fold-out inside the volume. I never had the posters so this is quite a treat.

Eagerly awaiting my copy. I still have a tattered well-read edition of the first Superman/Spider-Man team-up. One of my faviurite comic book stories. Fantastic art by Ross Andru.

I found a well preserved copy of the first SUPERMAN/SPIDER-MAN a few years ago at a local consignment store. They also had both volumes of Steranko’s HISTORY OF COMICS, in good condition. $60 for all three.

How did the 1991 posters come about?  They are sharp.

I've never seen those before and never knew they existed.  I didn't know that Marvel and DC ever did joint posters such as this.

Nice one Ken!
What a brilliant idea to have JB sign the posters.
Very jealous now LOL
(Tho I do have two sets, unsigned of course, one I bought in 91.
What a great year)

Shawn - JB's Marvel/ DC posters were made to promote the 1991
trade paperback release "Crossover Classics". The first trade to collect all the crossovers from Marvel and DC, up to that point. (of course)

And, annoyingly, since each company wanted to release their half of the posters independently, there could be no actual “crossovers” in either image.

sigh

Re: Ken Sun’s pictures, lurking in the background there are the JBF’s own Cory Vandernet, twice, with my best bud and living comicbook character, Gary Cody.

Yes JB, as much as I've loved the posters, since they were released, it's too bad you couldn't have crossovers between the Marvel & DC characters - I've thought that was odd, since 91. But now I see why it was so. Thanks for the info.
Too bad, as that would've made the posters even better. :)

Ps thanks for putting names to the faces in the pics, JB!

Oh, that trip to T.O. was one of the great weekends of my life. Meeting William Shatner was fantastic. Great fun.

Looking at those pics I am reminded that, thanks to Ozempic, I have shed about 25 pounds since they were taken!
