A quick note to let you all know I’ve decided not to take ELSEWHEN to Marvel. Many and diverse reasons, none of which need be mentioned here. File under “Just One of Those Things”.

All these years, and still I hear that this was a project started for Marvel and ultimately rejected by them.

I still come across hearing that as well. I just shake my head. 
The funny thing is, they sound so sure of themselves!

Few are more certain of their convictions than fans who are wrong.

It comes, I think, from the need many have to be more than “just” consumers. To be PART of the PROCESS. This is why, so many times over the years, when confronted by fans making outrageous claims, my response has been to ask them where their office was at Marvel/DC.

It was really neat that Stan Lee wanted fans to be part of "the gang." Too bad that this (I suppose quickly) degenerated into a bunch of snotty know-it-all yentas.
