Oh, and here's another. This one I call "Pulp Banzai."
Pulp-style covers are fun. I'll probably do more along
this line.

Okay... here's two recent sketches, for another board I read where a new character is chosen each week. That week was Bat-Girl, and I popped out one with Barbara, and one that was a cross between Barbara and the modern girl wonder...

I'd like to post a picture but I realize now that I've never done it here before.
This is pretty recent but I wouldn't call it a sketch since I 'sharpied' it.

I was bored at a conference a couple of years ago and the concept seemed so obvious...the Waterboy!!!
A young lad confined to a wheel chair is hurled overboard as the the
ship he was on is caught in a sudden storm. Neptune, King of the
Sea comes to his aid. In return for sparing his life, the boy
swears to uphold law and order in the name of Neptune, and is granted
magical water powers to help his cause.
See, it was a way for me to sketch super-heroes while at the
convention. "I'm thinking of neat ideas for kids to learn about
water." :)

Talk? Who says that they talk? They are Action Figures. (Action speaks louder than words. lol ) It's a crazy lil gimick I picked up from the Final Fantasy VII characters. I've explained the mouth thing (without them, they can't suck right?) now I have to figure out why they don't have noses and I'm all set. Still, I wish there was a market for them. I love these Lil Dudes concept. Oh well.....
