          That should repaint fairly easily.

 | Not a Supergirl fan in any way, but I may pick that up.  If only to triple the amount of blue paint already on her.  And does she usually have a yellow border on her cape?  I don't recall that, but again, not a fan. Yeah.  Unfortunately that is the new Supergirl.  I was kind of hoping for the 70's hot pants and puffy sleeve version, but oh well. |

 | Hmm...difficult, but not impossible...  The belt and skirt will pose some problems.  Gloves aren't a big deal.  The hair won't be exact, but black paint might help.  The cuffs on the boots are easy enough.

These figures are made of very soft lead -- it's very easy to carve away details with an X-Acto knife, so I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard to fix the skirt and belt.  The hari could be handled in a similar manner if you were willing to re-sculpt using Kneadatite ("Green Stuff" 2-part sculpting epoxy), which would also work well for the skirt.

Kinda funny thinking of a sculpture of a Kryptonian being re-sculpted using something called "Green Stuff."

 :-)

 | I just looked at it and "I Dream of Genie" ran through my head. I need a good shrink. |

I am not a fan of Turner's in any way, but the statue isn't so bad.

 | I think the only things I will "fix" on Supergirl will be the skirt and cape colors. They HAVE to be just red! If I am in a good mood, I may also repaint her belly, but that doesn't really bother me.
As far as taking a Turner modeled Supergirl and turning her to a Byrne-Generations one, I think it is too much work, and to be honest, I don't think black hair, gloves and buccaneer boots is what I think when Supergirl comes in mind. In the Generations books it fit the mix just fine, but as a representative statue, not so much...

My sister-in-law in France is subscribing to the DC series for me. She will send them when she has five or six saved up.
