I really hope the "Best of Figure Collection" corrects the scale issues. That Ted Kord Blue Beetle is gigantic! Are there other statues in the series (both Marvel and DC) that were horribly too huge?

Yes, depending on your POV, the fist dozen or so figures were too small, or the latter ones were too big.

That Superman is ridiculous.

***

Haven't checked this thread in a while, but I agree.

It just looks like an ordinary civilian, like myself, who has put on a cape at a party There's no grandeur, nothing awe-inspiring about it.

"Young Superman?" Are the rights to Superboy in contention again?

Brian Hague: Oh, no. In the PU52, Superboy was a real character - no rights issues. No, someone thought that putting a brand spanking new Superman in a t-shirt, jeans, and red towel represented the true Man of Steel.

I read neither of these books, so I have no details... I just didn't have the heart (or stomach) to read many of them. DC52 was an excellent jump off point, so I did so for the most part. (I kept up with non-mainstream books like Astro City and Batman Beyond.)

If anyone is really interested, it's a temporary costume worn during his early days in Metropolis.

Is Young Superman #96 the last of the Chess Sets? I was really not impressed with all the new interpretations of the heroes and villains. I'd definitely buy into a set of Golden, Silver, or Bronze age versions.
