Hey Darren you missed a DOA update in the assorted section : Of special note - the historical Fantastic Four page showing how Susan got her infamous new haircut and the action comics Superman page which comes just before the one I bought recently. Go check it out everyone and help me save my money !

Thanks Phillippe. Although, I seem to be the main contributor, don't mistake me for the official "crier" for the DOA updates. This thread is here for -anyone- who spots an update, to let everyone else know...you know, out of the goodness of thier heart;-)

Thanks for the heads up though.

(oops, see there was a question addressed to me . . .)

Wilson -

this here image, HERE, from the Adventures in the DC Universe Annual,
featuring JB inking.

It's in the "Assorted" section of the JB part of the site, third line down,
second from right.

Hi Folks,I really appreciate Darren letting folks know when I've made updates to the JB galleries on my site!  I don't want anyone thinking he's on the DOA payroll though, so I'll try and make posts here once I've updated the site!

This evening, I added 3 new pieces to the Misc. gallery:

LINK

In honor of Halloween there is a REALLY creepy Demon page as well as a swell Superman page featuring Metallo (at least I think it's Metallo!).

For those into more "wholesome" pages, there is a new oversized page from FF # 287 featuring "The World's Greatest Grandma" which is inked by the legendary Joe Sinnott (who also has signed the page on the reverse).

Happy Haunting!

I came in to do the update and Jim got in there first! LOL.

Nice one Jim, thanks for letting us know. Great pages and nicely seasonal...now you'll need to find some Christmas themed ones ofr December;-)

Regards,

Darren

Those Blood of the Demon pages are really creepy. I haven't read this series but isn't it the creepiest and gorest art JB has ever done ?

Hi Folks,

Since a couple of pages sold last night, I replaced them with two new ones this evening.  First up in the JB assorted gallery:

I added a nice Superman page featuring Silver Banshee.

Next up, in the Private Stock gallery:

I added a nice page from Man of Steel # 1.  This page is rather historic as it showcases Clark Kent using his super-powers in public for the first time; it also is the "unedited" page showing JB's original drawing of the space shuttle, which DC insisted be changed due to the space shuttle Challenger exploding prior to the publication of MOS # 1 (but AFTER JB penciled the page and Dick Giordiano inked it).

Okay, no more updates until the weekend; yea humble art-pimp is taking tomorrow night off to re-visit his youth and see Van Halen in concert at the Verizon Center!

In case anyone was wondering, I DID try to include hyperlinks to the galleries in my message above.  I am using Firefox as my browser and for some reason the "add hyperlink" icon in the "Post Reply" box does not seem to work.  Is anyone else on the Forum using Firefox?  If so, can you please let me know how to add an actual hyperlink to these forum messages rather than having to resort to copying the links as follows:

http://www.whatashock.com/doasales/ps.html

Thanks in advance for the assist!

Hi Jim,

Would you consider putting in links for Assorted, Doom Patrol and She-Hulk on the top of JB's section like you do the other titles?  It would save time for those that check your site regularly for updates.
