I picked up the (new?) half-figure "bust" of Thor by Bowen, arms outstretch, cape swirling. Nicely done.

Those look less like abs to me and more like a shelled pea-pod....

Weren't the abs common practice to be represented on Iron-Man's armor? Colan, Buscema, Starlin, Byrne, Layton... Everyone drew them. Unless you mean something else...

Thanos, I believe it is the subtle representation of the abs in the past on the Iron Man statues vs the way they look with the new Silver Centurian armor statue posted above.
