Thanks Bill! I was over-the-moon to have the stuff martin brought me from Japan. The Science Patrol lapel pin is something I've always wanted... and Ultra-man's autograph? Pure joy.
Can't decide if I should drink the Ultra-man soda...
and the shirt fit my son just fine. Very cool, although he's totally into the Teen Titans cartoon right now. We sing a lot of the Puffy Amiyumi theme song. Sounds like you all had a great trip. One day... I'll go on the next trip & bring the family.

I got a spinner rack from Border's for $50!•• Coincidentally, that's what I paid for my old-style "Comics Merry-Go-Round" --- more than thirty years ago!!

Spinner racks are cool and that one looks great! I had to settle for a "magazine" spinner. The authentic comicbook ones are too expensive and hard to find. Mine works but it's really too large for most comics I would like to display. It is nice for over-sized items in my collection though.

This one holds both. Maybe one day I will find one like JB has, but until then, this will do nicely, especially for $50 :-)

Can't decide if I should drink the Ultra-man soda... *** Dave, you mean this? ...From a distant planet land, comes our hero Ultra-Can! It kinda tasted like weak Gatorade, and after chugging down one and trying to finish another (shooting for an Ultra-Seven can), I ended up not really liking it. I'll post photos of the actual Ultraman vending machine at the Bandai Museum in another thread, since I really didn't bring one back with me to show off here... ;P Thanks to the kindness of a few very thirsty G-Tour 2 members, I did get an Ultra-Seven one to go with my Evil Ultraman Belial (my second can was Ultra-Zero, who ended up in the recycle bin):

I'd be willing to pay $75 + shipping if someone near a Borders could get me a spinner rack.

I can't recall if I mentioned this or someone else, but among all the ugly crap DC Direct has for sale, I found this beautiful Batman thing:

Mike I had a toy store and got lots of info about display stands, I found this stand, not sure if it would work, but the price is good. Maybe if you call they can tell you, if it works for comics. But they may only sell to businesses, doesn't hurt to maybe check them out.
Cheap display rack link
The thing about this stand is you could print up a cool looking retro sign to place on top, because this stand has a holder for a sign. I did a quick google and found this, if you are good with photoshop you could throw together a pretty nice looking one:

Looks like there will be some merchadising tie-ins to the upcoming Tintin motion-capture movie... Like a series of mini-figures based upon scenes from the Herge books (unfortunately, all pre-orders are filled at HLJ) [HLJ Link]
