Believe it when you see it "in person". I have noticed an unfortunate tendency toward Photoshopping, usually "blending in" photographs, in some of these pictures.A quick check, for instance, reveals that the features on the left side of the face are an EXACT mirror of the right side, so far as size and shape of eyes, nose, mouth, etc. (Even the highlight in the eyes swaps sides!) Ask yourself, too, if the technology that renders the spit-curl as a twist of licorice would really be able to produce individual eyelashes. I will be REALLY surprised if the actual doll looks much like this.

Its possible they used computer modeling which has a "mirror" feature so that the sculpt can be perfectly identical.

An odd choice, given that no human face is precisely symmetrical.

They do really great work, IMO. Here are a couple of shots of the RDJ sculpt. It really does look exactly like this.

Hot Toys is the company to beat these days. They've raised the bar big time, and very few companies, if any, come close. Can't wait to get that Superman figure!

Randy Bowen wants to sculpt The Marvel Monsters, but wants to make sure there is support for this product before going forward. He has already started The Frankenstein Monster. We have put up a poll that he is monitoring. The choices are - The Frankenstein Monster, Werewolf by Night, Tomb of Dracula, and The Living Mummy. You can't read Randy's ideas and vote here... http://www.statuemarvels.com/f87/bowen-marvel-monsters-poll- 13661.html

That Christopher Reeve Superman is an incredible design. Having said that, I find it creepy.

Odd design for that Invisible Woman. It looks like she's just hatched out a egg while being held by some giant rock monster. Ah, those wacky Japanese...
