Dwayne,
I recommend the DC Direct Silver Age Hal as well!

Funny that you mentioned that one, Lars. Just won it on eBay and should be here any day now.

Some interesting pics coming out of Toy Fair, and some disturbing ones...

Michael, I like the Imaginext figure, but don't really want the vehicle. I am keeping my eye out for a loose one. Watching one on eBay.

Hey just a heads up, the Walmart near me, had the five pack Walmart exclusive Green Lantern, marked down to $29.99. I bought it for my son at Christmas for $59.99.

This is the set

(pic from NY ToyFair)

I love the KIRBY looking Hulk face sculpt.
Marvel Universe 4-inch action figure multi-pack.

Q for JB:

I know you prefer statues, but does this figure gain your interest?

I am liking that Hulk face a LOT, but I really, really, really dislike the excessive articulation on these figures.

That's what kills my interest in most action figures -- they always tend to look like cyborgs to my eyes, due to the joints at the articulation points.  Particularly egregious with female figures, with their more slender limbs.

Michael,

Thanks very much for postings pics of the MOTU line.  I didn't realize that there were so many. They look really cool, and I am happy they have made an Adora and She-ra.  I have three girls and they will love these toys.  Is there a Swift Wind to go with She-Ra?  Regarding the two packs, I have had no luck getting any at any of the Toys r Us stores.  All they have is the Skeletor and Luthor.

Swift Wind is coming out this year, but they haven't announced the date. They may announce it at the Mattel Panel at New York Toy Fair, which is sometime today.

Adora is going to be re-issued next month on March 15th. Generally the re-issues last longer than the few hours new figures do, but a main character like Adora still might sell out within a day or two. Trying to buy from the site in the first hour of the sale date is like trying to buy tickets from Ticketmaster.
