I'm really disliking the bases on the recent Bishoujo statues. The flames worked well for Phoenix/Dark Phoenix, but most of the others look kind of crappy. I think the Black Cat base is supposed to be a building far below her in perspective, but it looks like she's stepping on a gingerbread house. I prefer the simple bases of the earlier statues in the series.

Certainly makes up for the Rockin' Jelly-Bean one.

Might be picking this one up later in the year without having to pay shipping.

My son and I recently started collecting Marvel Mighty Beanz. Here is a not too good pic of some of our collection.

There are also DC and Star Wars, but we are sticking with just the Marvel ones for now.

Also Marcus, you can order them online here.

I have the X-Men one above (one of my favorite Marvel house ads - it was the first time I saw Iceman as a Snowman), a Wolverine one, and a Dr. Doom one (I fill it with soda, it fills me with confidence).

That Teen Titans and Avengers ones are very nice and are gonna happen. But my next tumbler will be Firestorm.

I have a Hellboy Bust by Randy Bowen, I believe its the first Hellboy bust.  (picture http://www.flickr.com/photos/kilotwo/224495464/ )

There is a crack in the bust at the narrow point between the base and Hellboy's shoulders.  The crack goes all the way around.

What should I do?  I'm not concerned about hiding the crack, I just want to make sure it doesn't break in two.  Would crazy glue work on this material?

Had my eye on this Shunya Yamashita figure for quite some time, but the original price was well above that of a Kotobukiya Bishoujo...

HLJ inventory clearance discount of 40% off?   Mine at last!

EDIT - The sale has ended!  Back up to $94!  Heh!

Received the Etrigan bust from the HEROES OF THE DC UNIVERSE series today -- only to discover that the Demon has been reclassified as a VILLIAN.

In creating Etrigan, Jack Kirby managed to dodge all the hoary old cliches, and come up with something most of us had not seen before. Later and lesser lights did the best they could to trowel all the cliches back in. (Etrigan a demon who has been transformed into a human, who now wants to be free of the demon? Nonsense! Etrigan is a demon who is POSSESSING a human! MUCH better!)

Way to respect the giants of the industry, DC.
