Chris, Here's a photo of my disco sentinel.  Try as I might, I can't get his legs straight, so his pelvis is always at that strange angle.

With the pelvis in that orientation, it looks like you got the "hot diva pose" Sentinel variant (which is only slightly more sought-after than the "no panties" version)!

  @James
Yeah,one of your joints is wrong.One's up and the other down where
I believe it's supposed to be.It's easier to twist it around before you put
the legs on though.I think it's the right leg that needs to have the joint
rotated around.

Just a heads-up...  HLJ has managed to restock some of the X-Plus Godzilla figures again:

Godzilla 1989 (Vs. Biollante)

http://www.hlj.com/product/XPS00771

Godzilla 1984 (1985 in the U.S.)

http://www.hlj.com/product/XPS00801

The 1989 version initially sold-out during pre-orders 4 months ago, so this is a surprise to see it pop up again (very limited production runs on these)...  Even with the exchange rate being really bad right now, I don't believe this will be available for too long.  Personally, I thought the 1984 Godzilla design was terrible, and it shows in the figure as well IMO.

EDIT - Well, that Godzilla 1989 has sold out again!  Congrats to the lucky owner(s)!  ;)

I agree, Bill. I'm a huge Godzilla fan and have collected numerous figures/model kits of the Big G in all his numerous designs, but the '84 incarnation has always been my least favorite.

I thought I'd better point out that the X-Plus version of Baragon, from the Toho's FRANKENSTEIN CONQUERS THE WORLD and DESTROY ALL MONSTERS (not to mention being cannibalized for several Ultraman monsters), is available again (sold out in pre-orders last September):

I think this is one case where the Sci-Fi Revoltech action figure version is a much more cost effective and fun choice...

I've never seen the movie (and perhaps that's a blessing), but from my Toho daikaiju guide books, the 1967 SON OF GODZILLA version of the Big-G is the absolute worst IMO...

Thanks goodness they came up with a much better design for 1968's DESTROY ALL MONSTERS (kicking myself for missing out on the X-Plus 1968 version this past Fall, but it was either that or pass on the 1989 one).
