I will try to find it in my heart to forgive you.
LOL I have a weakness for short furry things, which explains why I like Danny Devito so much.

My Captain Avatar/Okita Relief Plaque arrived via Japan today. It looks pretty sweet! *** Looks great, Paul! Just don't start talking to it in times of great peril, because all it will do is come to life and suggest a suicide attack on the enemy.

Bandai is also releasing it's first new mass-market Space Battleship Yamato injection model kit in a very long time, at 1/500 scale and based upon the early Season One (1974) production design. Image at HLJ (Dec 2010 release): [Link]

The Buzz I ordered from HLJ had a bad face and I wrote to the company and they sent me a new face right away, with no problems. Great company to work with.

HLJ's got coverage of the 2010 Mokei Hobby Show in Japan: http://www.hlj.com/blog The new 1/500 Space Battleship Yamato injection kit is tempting, but I'm going to hold off until the inevitable reissued version at a much lower price. Interesting to see the old Imai SDF Macross kits making a comeback under the Bandai label

I wish statues and action figures would give up trying to replicate "energy". Ms. Marvel looks like she has her hands caught in some taffy.

The handling of the sash is really well done though.

When I went to NY recently I got to see this:

My son got it and I really loved it. I really enjoy when they mix real material with a sculpture. It has interchangeable heads too, which was nice.
