Speaking of TOY STORY 3 stuff, I snagged the medium-sized Twitch and the robot, Sparks. Love'em.

Yesterday we passed through Toronto city, so I ran into Silver Snail (big comicshop) and picked up this little bugger.

Extra bonus, they were having their end-of-summer sale so it was 30% off! I've been impatiently searching all over fer this.

I only have a few from this line but they're the most iconic which equals must-have.

I don't know why, but as the years roll on I become
enamored with the non-Golden Avenger armor less and less.
Also, I used to not care for the clunky Mark I and II but
they're growing on me.

Oh, need to look out for those new Iron Man armours. Didn't know they were releasing a Silver Centurion or the JRjr version.

I find it vaguely depressing to see any but the first and third (reading left to right) deemed "iconic"!!

Received this one in the mail a couple of weeks ago.  It was an exclusive to ComicCon and Celebration V in Orlando.  I found it available online through a vendor.  Kind of throws the whole "exclusive" thing out the window.

There's truth in that of course, and 'iconic' was a poor choice of words, but the middle three armours are from MY collecting hey-day, and are the best-recognized examples. They showed up for lengthy runs in the comicbooks where it seems today's artists come up with new designs every few issues and nothing sticks to 'on-model'.

Besides John Byrne drew 'em, so that makes them OFFICIAL!

Not faulting your use of the word, Lars. I suspect to a whole lot of people those other armors ARE "iconic". Just kinda BUGS me that they are!!

Finally opened my NEW GODS series 2 (Jack Kirby) Superman.

I like it, and the sculpted grooves don't bug me too much, (even though JB has mentioned he dislikes that feature,) it's an atypical technique and looks neat-o.

Part of the problem with the sculpted shading on the muscles is that it works REALLY WELL on Darkseid, but by doing it on ALL the figures, that effect is spoiled.

Now to really make that Superman authentic you should attach a different Superman figure's head to it!

That would've been a funny accessory:  a "redrawn" Superman head!

Yeah! What awesome accessories!Interchangeable Superman heads done in Al Plastino, Murphy Anderson, and Neal Adams styles! Confidentially, I'm a little upset that the Metron figure didn't have its own Mobius chair, and the Orion had no Astro Force harness. Otherwise, I loved this line of figures.
