The pathetic thing about that Galactus is that it's the SAME ONE from Marvel Legends series 9 that came out years ago... and they changed the head just to make it different! ---- The proportions look different between the two figures.

Huh. I just went and looked at an old ML Galactus and quite a bit is different on this one. The wrists, the chest emblem, the belt area, the shape of the skirt. The basic figure itself is the same - you can tell for instance that the arms, legs, torso, etc are all just repainted, but a lot of the deco work has been altered. The wrists being different and the head being bigger would explain the difference in proportions, I think. The legs look identical, just repainted, and the torso is the same other than the different belt and emblem shapes.

Hmm I think I have the ML Prof X that came with the head but not the rest of the body, should be an easy swap.

Kinda makes me want to post something equally crappy and tell everyone "I like it!", just for old time's sake.

Not a fan of the armored look for Sandman, but that's still a really cool looking statue!

Seems like the future looks bright for Marvel Comics Statues by Bowen Designs! Over the last few days, Randy Bowen has hinted at what's coming with the following threads/polls/requests for images, etc... If you're a Marvel Statue fan and I'm assuming you are if you are looking at this thread, you are welcome to contribute your votes, images, and opinions that will help shape what we see produced by Bowen Designs over the next few years! X-23: Which pose? White Tiger!? Fantastic Four? What era? Which Polaris pose? Bowen Designs H.E.R.B.I.E - What Color? If there were another Hulk statue... Original X-Men FS or MB's? Bowen Designs Ghost Rider Bikes: Which Ones?
