This is the first time I have seen any sort of Protector model. There seem to be two versions -- a kit (pictured) and a "pre-assembled" display model.

I have the STII:TWOK Enterprise from Diamond and quite like it.  As a 'toy' it's got a lot of detail and looks sweet by my desk.  Without the time and resources to get back into modelling (I posted the small Polar Lights TOS Big E that I built a good while back somewhere on this board) I find their ships to be the first passable 'toy' substitute for a build it yourself.

Would love to discover they'd done The Protector, as well as a number of other properties...

(Anyone know where I can get a decent new-Galactica?)

Al, I've posted this same link before in this thread, but apart from that Diamond Select Toys statue, the Hasbro Ultra-Titanium die-cast, and a few of expensive garage kits, your best bet will be the Moebius Models release coming out later this year:

A number of online distributors are already taking pre-orders (including HLJ), but I'm getting mine through the Starship Modeler Store.

Back to the Protector, there are already few after-market decals and etched-detail parts available online as well...

OMAC from Mattel's DCUC Wave 15:

LINK to the rest of the line up.

Was kind of interested when I saw that the Jack Knight version of Starman was included, but the sculpt is a little too beefy for me. Doesn't really capture the character that I read.

AH! Supergirl statue. Love that she's breaking through the base. I've fallen behind on the Cover Girls line, but I must get this one.

Supergirl will be mine! Also in the coming solicits, Batman action figures from DC Direct based on the Arkham Asylum video game. I'm planning on getting the Joker, at least, and possibly the Harley since she's a neat looking alternate version. The Scarecrow is pretty spooky too, but I'm not 100% sold on getting him.
