Looks like the sculpt is based on the gold version specifically, since there's no chin, and the original gray suit didn't have the "skant" look.

…bit of a chin on this cover but it did change!

••

It didn't actually "change". It was drawn inconsistently, sometimes with a chin, sometimes chinless (or with the chin "tucked" as it would appear to be on the cover to ToS 43, above).

Note that on the cover to 45, in almost the same pose as 43, the chin is "back".

And, of course, in the corner symbol (which should be, after all, definitive!), it never went away.

The first Bowen Doctor Doom is perfection to my eyes. Both
are great, but could someone explain to me how one is
"modern" and the other is "classic"?

+++++++++

The "Modern" one has the more recent version of the mask.

I see. On second look the modern one has larger eye slits
and the face plate seems to be fitted closer to the face.
I'd certainly go with the classic.

I kind of feel like this is the best Flash statue I've seen, despite the mutant slug on the base. Part of the DC Chronicles line.

I don't recall if the Chronicles WW had been posted. I know JB keeps track of the WWs, and this one looks fairly representative.

I can't help it. I love Man-Bat. And this is kind of cool. Based on Neal Adams.

That's a pretty nice Flash -- altho he still looks like he's tripping over whipped cream, as so many Flash statues do!

Wonder Woman looks pretty good, also. As does Man-Bat.
