From the way he's standing and the expression on his face, it looks like he's got a serious wedgie and is trying to act cool about it.  Ouch!

I am still amazed how you manage to keep all of the plots/subplots going in your head.

The M-team seems disoriented and confused, which... is very interesting. Can't wait to see how their story is resolved.

So to keep everyone straight, you guys are called the X-Men. And since all of you are new to our reality, let’s call you the New Mutants. =)

I like how the M-Men might not be unredeemable away from the influence of Magneto! Yay!

Digression: Apologies for the Bald Phoenix. Dave Cockrum art... stuff like that should've been a sort of convention sketch or in an unofficial fanzine. It always got me how often Dark Phoenix would get referenced later on, this terrible memory for the X-Men and figure of evil for aliens, yet Kitty would tell a cutesy fairytale about her or put on the costume as Xavier also does... and later the separate Jean Grey would re-adopt the name and green costume for no good reason (story-wise that is, marketing is another thing).

Perhaps you have to stand in the darkness to better appreciate the light? Or listen to some modern auto-tuned drum-machine rap-pop to know the Wonder of Stevie? For every okay thing in post #143 X-Men there were a couple 'this is horrible' things for me. The gravitas of Phoenix was absolutely blown, like having Galactus getting defeated by Willie Lumpkin would've ruined him.
