FACEBOOK

A classic example of people speaking as if from knowledge, when they have it not.

Some of them seem not even to have read the original story!

I guess 4 out of 5 is more than I was expecting.

This gives me a chance to ask, someone else on Facebook wondered if Joe MacTaggert was influenced by someone famous. I've wondered the same thing, since there seemed to be something slightly different about the way you drew his intro panel:

Wrong color eyes, etc., but there is just a little young Lorne Greene-ish about him, maybe...

Incidentally, at no time have I said Ernest Borgnine was my model for Shaw. That was Robert Shaw from the get-go. CC named the character, but did not participate in choosing his likeness.

(I didn’t use reference for any of them. Looking back, I am surprised at how close I got with all but Sutherland.)

Wow, now THAT I didn't know. They were so close that I just assumed that you did.

Oddly enough, I am often better with likenesses when I work strictly out of my head.
