JB, thank you very much for sharing ELSEWORLDS with us fans. It's not something to be taken for granted. Many of us, as you well know, have longed for you to return to the X-Men at some point, so this project was a dream come true. The stories were fun and the artwork phenomenal. I just want you to know that your efforts are appreciated and thanks for the wild ride!

JB, curious as to whether Wolverine's first meeting with Doom was going to be revealed in this storyline. As it seemed you were setting it up, with Wolverine mentioning it twice in the space of a couple of pages.

Nope.========== Love it. I much prefer Wolverine with parts of his history left to the imagination.

That was my thought. The immutable personage that is Doom!

Been a fun ride for sure - never dreamed I'd see more Byrne X-Men, or Fantastic Four for that matter outside of pinups or sketches. And the price was certainly right!
Doom having multiple versions of himself helping him doesn't really fit his personality imo, as every last one of them would demand to be seen as the smartest person in the room. But in the end it doesn't matter as that was going to be written out anyways.
I'm sure given time some crazy solution to save Kurt would've come to JB's mind if necessary. But this leaves us fans able to finish the story in our own minds and 1,000 different solutions will exist (none practical but all fun).
Now, if only Dave Cockrum was still around to take it over at this point to replace his temporary fill-in (yes, that is a joke based on an old comment of JB's from the 80's iirc).

Thanks for all the work you have done on this project. I have found it to be a deep learning experience that touched upon story, character development, plotting and simultaneously the mechanics of drawing from anatomy to perspective in background items to placement of people and world building as a topic spanning the whole piece. It’s a real treasure that came at a time that for me was perfect. Much like your work in comics from the 70s and 80s Elsewhen fills the current times with a wonderful alternative world. Thanks for permission to try our collective hands at inking too, it’s been a blast.

Thank you John for this unprecedented experience, a rare gift. I would have loved to see this unfold for a looong time longer. This is to me as true and real as the actual printed stories that we got to read so many years ago. Thanks for making me care about the X-Men again…

I'm always busy with various things in August so I've only just caught up on the last 6-8 pages. Amazing work JB. Loved the joy it gave us and for a while, gave you.
Great place to end it to be honest. Imagine, if this was really at Marvel, what a cock-up the follow-up by someone else would be.
