Yes, always fun to see how someone else works. Things can occasionally be learned even from BAD artists! (Tho that mostly comes down to NOT doing what they do!)

The daily format is a blast. I'm trying to cut back on comments as often I go into silly stuff that isn't contributing. Thankfully I've got past speculating. I wonder if more indy creators might look at something like this - a page a day Monday to Friday as a way to force themselves into more discipline and getting the work out, then having a tpb at the end to make money. Maybe funded via kickstarter or patreon or something. A shame those didn't exist years ago for those who blew money on stuff like Hepcats where the creator took the money and didn't produce (due to 'not enough buying' or something). I'm sure in a lot of those types of cases there was a ton of stuff we fans never knew, but I did know store owners who were screwed over (paid for product that never arrived or came so late they lost the sale).
Yeah, a format like this is better. I know if this came out as a tpb or hardcover later I'd feel a need to buy it (but fully understand why that isn't happening). 50+ issues eh? Should be fun for us fans. Glad it is fun for Mr. Byrne as well.

I was perusing Volume 2 of the X-Men Omnibuses yesterday and I saw the design sheet for Kitty. I’ve seen it uncountable times but what caught my eye was the date on it. 1978. I had no idea her creation* was so far back in your X-Timeline.
*And that of the secondary student team, which I guess Chris went ahead and ran with. I recall you working out a “trade” in which you gave up claim to New Mutants in exchange for Chris had no claim on Alpha Flight.

Shooter rejected my pitch for a second team of actual students, calling it the “legion of substitute X-Men”. Later, it became his idea.

Looking back, the New Mutants might have as easily been a book with a rotating cast rather than a core ongoing membership. As students join the school, learn to use and control their powers (while having adventures), and then graduate, it could have been the book that introduces "new mutants" steadily and then promotes the characters to other X-books.
What might have been.

John Byrne quote- As bits and pieces of stories and subplots keep piling up in my head, it looks more and more as if I will have no trouble getting to 50 issues.-----

Given the sad souls who occupy so many corners of the internet, I don't think it's entirely paranoia on my part when something like this happens and my first thought is that it's an ATTACK!

On Saturday, Paul Wills also received an error message when trying to upload one of his inked pages to the Elsewhen Inking thread...maybe due to the same issue you're seeing this morning?
