Ah… Jean pirouetting through outfits is one of my fondest moments in the original run… Not a momentous action piece or dramatic turn (save for her changing the conversation) but just a bit of fun using her powers.

James, I see the humor in what you have. How about...

JB, in the days when you wrote more captions, did you enjoy writing them?

@John: Thanks so much for explaining the seed of history that inspired this issue. You'd likely be aware how torturous and cruel legitimate treatments were in Canada over this period, something your readers here perhaps are not (if not I'd direct them to google Donald Ewen Cameron and the Montreal Experiments).

As for you John, any chance these dark recesses of your mind will produce another novel akin to Fear Book or Whipping Boy as your horror prose is sorely missed?

@John: Logan's healing factor repairs certain levels of bodytrauma but with the multiple decade torture here, how about mental trauma?  Sadly most people differentiate the two, butsince the manifestation is in the physical organ of the brain, wouldthe factor heal the neural pathways the trauma alters?

Basically, here I am suggesting that Logan's long ordeal of pain and isolation--more to come!--was largely responsible for his charming personality.

Interesting question. I like writing, in general, and I enjoy the challenge of creating captions that are not (as with many writers) just descriptions of what is already in the art.
