That’s a multiple choice question, Andrew.

With JB doing the real X-Men, and Stan Sakai still churning out quality Usagi Yojimbo fare, all I need to make my comic book life complete is Alan Davis producing new Clandestine stories over at IDW!
JB, have any of your friends in the biz expressed a desire to do something similar to what you are creating with XMEW?

Wallace, most of them don’t even seem aware that I’m doing it!

My thinking here was part of a question I'd asked before, about unlikely crosses of heroes and villains that worked well. This would be the flip side, getting at crosses that might be considered but never used.
So... how do you approach including villains who aren't part of a team's usual "rogue's gallery?"

I just…. do it! Nothing to stop me except (hopefully) my own common sense.

What was Walt Simonson's reaction?
He's got Thor: Last God Standing going in a similar vein.

The first time I truly appreciated, or was truly inmersed into subplots, was thanks to your tenure in AWC. It is my example of choice for how to handle foreshadowing... that is the reason why I adored this issue!

A while back I asked Walter on Twitter if he would ever do a project like X-Men Elsewhen. His response was "What? X- Men fan pic? Probably not. :-) Too much to keep track of. :-D".

Egads! :-O
To everyone here... If you had a favorite X-Man (or X-Men supporting character) before reading ELSEWHEN, has that changed? If so, who has taken over that spot and why?
