All I really wanna say is "RRRAHH!"
I do feel bad I once responded to someone's question about their read of a page with what I guessed we were seeing/reading. A different read was pointed out and I replied that it also made sense. Ultimately whatever is guessed is not worth mentioning. Nobody but the author can 'know' for certain and I try to take any guesses here in and out and gone mostly, but...
the first time I saw Star Wars I had some kid behind me reciting all the dialogue before it was spoken, and it ruined it for me. I don't watch detective shows with my Mom much because she has read a bazillion of the books and almost always will explain things before the show does, and before I get a chance to put things together for myself... no fun.
So... I got it, and I still get it. If I can help make others 'get it' I'm willing to try.
This is for comments, right? Feedback. Not where do you or I think it is heading. Imagine if everyone at a movie started calling out stuff like that, or delivering dialogue before the person on screen? I never even understood the appeal of Mystery Science Theater 3000, I just wanted to see those films without the jerks in the front row always making wisecracks... and I've cracked wise here too. But yes, let's not spoil things... this is a very unique experience in comic book creation and reading, and we might not fully appreciate it now.
Thanks as always for sharing this space, and if I have rubbed your fur the wrong way I'm more than willing to accept a "RRRAHH!" here and there.
P.S.: google Bonnie MacLean San Francisco Fillmore posters!

Wait, what were we talking about?
I agree with Tim! This series is by far the best available today and just getting better.

Parallel worlds are too fun to speculate. We just saw one finished here (but some leftovers to enjoy with Magneto still kicking... can I shorten it to 'neto? No? I'll be shot? OK). Wonder what one where Marvel took over DC in the early 80's and Byrne did Superman a few years earlier than in our world would be like. Or where Dave Cockrum was left on (stayed on?) X-Men so we never got JB on it, JB going to DC or something at that point instead. Ugh. Could go into a giant thread, but not appropriate here I suspect. Better to just enjoy the universe we are reading here - this is a fun alternate universe X-Men that is for sure.

With Shooter in charger, my experiences doing Superman for Marvel would have turned out, I'm sure, as an even greater nightmare than what happened at DC. What happened on THE INCREDIBLE HULK can be seen as a template. As to Dave, he was eased off the book because he could not handle a monthly schedule, and retailers were demanding only monthly books. Had they been ignored, and he allowed to stay, the one and only X-Book would have slipped back into the oblivion of canceled comics. One or two of the characters might have ended up in the Avengers, or perhaps some earlier version of the Champions.
