I feel like your animals in this series are much better than what I've seen in the past. I don't know if that's an improvement in your skills or maybe just seeing it in pencil. Either way the result is stunning.

Always been unparalleled in his rendering of "stuff": that which other artists seem to consider as an afterthought (and it shows), but which always brings a greater sense of verisimilitude without having to be photorealistic to set the mood and enrich a scene.
It takes both the sensibility AND the skillset to pull it off.
