There was that one last separate adventures issue in the late '60s with Cyclops and Marvel Girl billed on the cover in larger lettering than X-Men was... #48. That was not the greatest time for the series though and there never was a Marvel Girl entirely solo (outside of those origin back-ups they had for awhile). Medusa got one though! I used to have #6 straight through to #51 (and then a smattering of five issues up to #60, so much competition to get the Adams ones as back issues).
Love the evil Phoenix expressions as usual!
Okay, first art criticism from me here; after twenty-five incredible issues... Jean's nose at the bottom of today's page... looks like a small grape on the side (let's blame Neal).
I know I know... I'm being picky. (hides) :^)

I was out for almost the whole of August and I find myself having to catch up...Such a happy experience...But I guess the Alpha Flight Summer Special is not for this year then,...

I'm looking forward to this Jean Grey story.
I fell in love with the character when I read my first UXM story. Sadly she died a few months later but I was hooked.
In a way Jean Grey is the reason I started reading comics on a monthly basis.
