ELSEWHEN continues to be a stealth project, it seems. A friend contacted me earlier this evening about a small assist on a project of his. He said he’d understand if I declined since he knew I had no interest in drawing comics any more.

Oy.

Okay, I'll bite only 'cause you brought it up, (or. maybe you explained it earlier somewhere) what is the plan? Is this going to eventually be collected into a hardbound? I'm loving it while you're doing it, but it seems too good to be true for it to remain only in this format.   < id="protanopia"> < id="deuteranopia"> < id="tritanopia">

I have no paper publishing plans, but custom compilations have been popping up for a while. Look around the web—or look into getting them done yourself.

Totally getting a Gene Colan vibe in that last panel along with some
Neal. Probably the most beautiful Jean face you’ve ever drawn.

Eyes and nose totally swiped from Neal Adams.

Who can figure out from where?

(Please note this is not a cue to start filling up bandwidth with postings of random Neal Adams female faces!)

Without looking it up, I think those features of Jean were taken from the page where Jean and Lorna are playing around with their fellow X-Men in the Danger Room. There was a close up shot of the two women in one panel.

Not me, but I definitely caught the Adams influence.

An amazing page, art-wise and character-development-wise. I am excited to see where you take us with this.

Matt is correct—tho it’s Lorna’s face that I swiped.

Even then no one guessed that murderous thing wasn't me.

That has got to hurt a person. That something can become so
much not you, and everyone thinks it was you all the time.

'Is that really how people saw me?'
