Really?!? If Professor X chastises Kitty, he'd better give it to Ashley, too.

Agreed - Do *not* mess with Kitty Pryde. It will not turn out well for you!

To be fair, Kitty is an X-Man. Ashley is not.

LOL! You don't tug on Superman's cape, and you don't mess around with Kitty Pryde!

The whole three-panel sequence of Kitty dunking Ashley into the ground as if it were a swimming pool is so masterfully done. I mean it. Everything is just perfect with the body language, etc.
Amazing. Bravo!

Kitty may be an X-Man, but she's still human.
How many times has Wolverine taken a full-clawed swipe at one of his teammates after having been embarrassed/scared. I can think of at least 3 off the top of my head, and he's been in the game a lot longer than Kitty.

Welp, I don't think that I've ever seen Kitty use her powers as a "waterboarding" technique before!

Sorry I'm asking this late. Had a $%^#-tacular week last week and just catching up.
JB, I saw your comment of "not on my watch" regarding Ninja Kitty.
Everything was Ninja in the 80s. Was the Kitty Pride/Wolverine mini series just Marvel adapting to the culture of the times or was it a particular creator at Marvel driving that Ninja training for Kitty?

That may be true, but Wolverine is also prone to fits of berserk fury that aren't entirely in his control. And I'd guess Professor X wants Kitty to set a better example. She can exercise the self-control that Logan can't.

I admire that sequence of three panels with the underground area being the same in each one! It reminds me of Will Eisner and many others of course, and it really works when done well.
