That's masterful rendering of the draping of Storm's cape.

It made me laugh aloud with delight at the sheer awesome skill. Storm is, as always, lovely. Most of the panel is filled with a truly amazing cape that looks like cloth, looks real with wrinkles and folds, and looks black.
I don't imagine too many artists would take the challenge to draw such a panel and enforce such verisimilitude to it. But as we all know, you, Mr. Byrne, are no ordinary artist.
That page is like an art lesson in itself. Thanks.

Echoing what's been said above. Storm has never looked better.

When drawing a caped figure like this, do you rough sketch the human form for reference, or do you just know where to drape the clothing and wing it?

That is why sneakpeaks are both great and painful...but at least Storm is alive, seems well and as beautiful as ever.

AWESOME splash!
Loving the drapery on Storm's cape... and her face is giving me a strong Beyonce vibe.

This is one I might want to see in color! I guess I can see it that way in my minds eye anyway though. Storm is so cool, I can't believe anyone ever wanted to change her look.
