Well, you know this is a variant on a "moment" that's been in my head for a long, long time, Wallace!

SIDEBAR: I reached a point a few days ago, in issue 17, where I was not one hundred percent certain how to pace out the last six pages. It's basically one big fight scene, but who with who etc was not dropping immediately into place in my fevered brain.

So, rather than sit idle, I decided to return to the Kitty/Colossus/Demon story I'd already started, this time jumping ahead a few pages even there, to touch on some subplot set-up for the NEXT issue.

Crazy thing is, I have no idea which issue number this will be. Somewhere in the 20s, certainly, but. . .

Amazing work -especially with the eyes on this page ending with the "soul-less" eyes of dark phoenix. Just amazing...

Yup.  When I saw this latest page I thought to myself...”He’s been talking about doing this for a long...long time.”

Since we cutaway back to Phoenix there is the possibility we may not know Kitty’s fate until next week!

Yikes.

______

Knowing the story behind the “moment” caused me to chuckle imagining it may have felt like finally scratching an old itch.

And i just realised  couldn't pot because there was a "m" at the start of the address of the site, which meant i was on the mobil version, even if i was on my computer. There onece the "m" removed, all is fine.

So as i often tried to tell in recent months: the series continues to be awesome and i enjoy it very much.

Of course the particular comment on such and such page, and such an such issue, are lost.

JB, did you draw one eye and flip it in the bottom panel? The lines are in perfect symmetry.
