How strong is Beast? A bit stronger than Spider-Man I'd think, but a loooooong way from Colossus...
>>
Spider-man is actually pretty strong, although he does hold back for safety reasons. I'm pretty sure he can lift a car and possibly a bus. (And yeah, not as strong as Colossus either, I expect...)
Furry beast once had trouble lifting the absorbing man's ball and chain in one of the Avengers issues if that's any gauge...

I'm pretty sure he can lift a car and possibly a bus. •• Jumping spiders can hold 170 times their own weight, which would translate to about 25,000 lbs for Spider-Man. I've often been asked what species of spider Stan and Steve had in mind to bite Parker. The answer is "They didn't."

In that same issue, Hank spins the Absorbing Man over his head, quite easily, and Crusher Creel must surely be over 200 lbs. Hmph.

Strength levels wandered. Some had the idea that Angel had super strength, for instance.* (And once beat a jetliner across the Atlantic. Hmmm...)Like Michael, I tend to the original portrayal of powers as being definitive. For instance, altho Jack once had Jean lift a half dozen or so teenagers who were mobbing Warren, Stan later said she could lift no more than her own weight. In a few pages, you will see I disagree with him! --------------------------- * I've often noted that many super powers seem to suggest at least SOME degree of super strength and/or invulnerability to support them.

So, knowing that there are likely people inside these Sentinels, I think back to the Sentinel that Kitty pushed into the ground. It screamed.
As this story is playing out, it makes me wonder if there was something more to that scream. At the very least, perhaps someone was controlling it from afar?

Controlled from afar, yes, but that electric scream was all in Kitty's hyper-active imagination!! Our little Sprite hasn't killed anyone!

I mentioned this before — I’ve recommended ELSEWHEN to a number of friends. Later, when I ask what they thought of the series, many of them have said they couldn’t find it on this site.

How hard is it to find this? The opening BYRNEROBOTICS screen has a FAN FIC button that links straight here.

Yes to the pencils! I join the chorus of those who are thrilled this wasn't inked.
